We’re Sorry Aunt Betty
Aunt Betty lives alone, and my sisters and I help her out. We take her to her doctor appointments, and once a week we shop for her food. Aunt Betty is also a big whiner and complainer, so a lot of her moaning and complaining we dismiss as her attempts at getting attention.
Yesterday morning she called me and said she’d fallen on the kitchen throw rug. I asked her if she was okay, and she said she was. Later in the afternoon, she called again and said one ankle was twice the size of the other. I immediately drove over to check on her.
